Posted by Stacy Jones on June 2017

Today National Healthcareer Association (NHA) has released the new ExCPT Pharmacy Technician Certification test plan. View the updated summary and detailed test plan here, or visit the Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) page.

After a rigorous Job Task Analysis study, practitioners and industry experts helped identify some shifts in the pharmacy technician profession. These professionals are assuming increasing responsibilities within the workplace, and a certified technician can add significant value allowing pharmacists to spend more time with patients. These expanded tasks and content areas will be reflected on the new exam.
