Like other large health systems, when Cone Health realized they needed to develop new staffing solutions, they first looked to provide growth opportunities for their staff. Cone Health relied on nearby schools and hired external clinical certified medical assistants, but with turnover rates of more than 20%, they needed to come up with additional solutions to fill their staffing needs. Watch how Cone Health's Assistant Director, Sally Hammond, used their certified medical assistant academy, as well as other retention strategies to lower turnover to around 10%. They are excited for what lies ahead and eager to share their staffing solutions with you!
