After a thorough job task analysis study with industry professionals, the new CMAA exam will be available on September 12, 2023, with minimal impact to exam topics and content areas. We advise that you utilize the latest study materials for any learners sitting for the exam on or after this date. Please also note that anyone who tests and fails the exam 30 days prior to the launch of the new exam will need to retest with the new exam.
Updates have been made to the test plan for the upcoming new version of the exam—the new test plan and crosswalk resources are available at the end of this post.
Available on June 1, 2023, the new CMAA study materials will feature changes in both content and function. Content within the latest study materials will differ slightly, as it was developed in alignment with the new CMAA exam test plan.
