Since the inception of the ExCPT exam in 2009, NHA has consistently advocated for well-trained, [certified pharmacy technicians](http://www.nhanow.com/certifications/pharmacy-technician). We remain steadfast in our belief that certification candidates should meet certain training requirements, which can be achieved through multiple reputable educational pathways.
