New teacher, new classroom, no problem

In 2019, Westwood High School faced a pivotal moment in its allied health education program. The sudden departure of the school’s registered nurse, who had successfully managed the nursing assistant program, left a void. This gap needed to be filled not just with a new instructor, but with an innovative approach to health science career and technical education (CTE) that could meet the evolving needs of students.
