The California Pharmacist Association and NHA want to recognize pharmacy technicians that are making an impact through spectacular service, innovative approaches to learning, or bringing big ideas to the workplace as we invest, together, in the pharmacy profession.

Here is your chance to nominate an outstanding pharmacy technician, technician educator or pharmacy employer for the 2020 NHA Pharmacy Technician Recognition awards! Award winners will be announced during the annual Western Pharmacy Exchange (WPE) meeting and will receive prizes in the form of membership dues, meeting registration or discounted products. We encourage you to submit nominations by March 20th here.

In order to submit a nomination, an applicant must fully complete the Official Entry Form and upload a “Essay” or “Video” on the following topic: “Why I want to change, support or advance the pharmacy technician profession and how am I accomplishing it”. Each Entry must include a copy of the Entrant’s resume (listing professional, academic and community accomplishments) and at least one letter of nomination from a professional peer, supervisor or mentor, who can speak to Entrant’s character and accomplishments.

The 2020 NHA Pharmacy Technician Recognition Awards program is open only to those individuals who (a) are actively working within the pharmacy profession (educator or employer); (b) are currently seeking or working on initiatives associated with the advancement of the pharmacy technician profession; (c) are residents of the state of California; and (d) agree to participate in the Program.
